Silent concert for choir and a sea of mercury

At dusk, Kantor, the character who conducts the ocean waves as if he were conducting an orchestra, coincides with a group of silent musicians and the mute harmony of a soundless choir. The action is an homage to Polish playwriter Tadeusz Kantor and his piece "Sea concert."

KAKUA AND KANTOR was premiered at Sant Sebastià beach, Barcelona, the 21st of June 2006, International day of Music. With the Euskal Hiria Choir conducted by Pablo Vélez, Jacob Draminsky, Aurora Vélez, and the tuba players Sergi Vergés, David Parras, Toni Chelvi and Custodio Muñoz.
